LONDON (CNI)--Finnish chemicals producer Kemira has completed the acquisition of German firm Klebstoffwerke Collodin Dr Schultz & Nauth’s paper chemicals business.

The deal, first announced in June, was closed following approval from the German competition authorities, said Kemira on Monday.

The acquisition includes the transfer of manufacturing and application technology for rosin sizes as well as wet end chemicals to Kemira.

The paper chemicals business of Frankfurt-based Collodin has sales of about Euro3.5m ($4.0m), mainly in Germany and France, and it employs about 10 people.
