SINGAPORE (CNI)--Chinese authorities representing The Ningbo Daxie Development Zone are seeking investors for a number of projects which would be integrated with Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes' methyl di-p-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) project in Ningbo, Zhejiang.

The projects under consideration are a 200 000 tonne/year formaldehyde unit, a 200 000 tonne/year aniline unit, a 5000 tonne/year polyurethane fibre facility and a 100 000 tonne/year polyurethane resin plant.

Wanhua is expected to start construction work on its 160 000 tonne/year MDI project later this year and hopes to bring it onstream in H1 2006.
