DSC reshapes global business offices

Digital Specialty Chemicals of Canada has undergone an internal re-organisation. This has resulted in the opening of a South-Asian office at DSC Headquarters in Toronto; the DSC office in New Hampshire, US will be conducting business for North America; and the Preston, UK office will be conducting business for Europe.

Digital's semi-automated plant in Toronto is now 60% complete, however, with the current uncertain situation in the chemical industry the company has decided to delay the commissioning of this facility and to concentrate on other 'more attractive options' such as its new website.

'We are also offering mult-kilogram quantities of S,S-DIPAMP and R, R - DIPAMP,' said Digital. 'This is using the Jutge process licensed from Atofina.'

Digital also manufactures R- and S- BINAP and racemic BINAP in multikilogram quantitiesas well as doing custom synthesis of chiral phosphine ligands for various organisations.
