SINGAPORE (CNI)—LG Chem plans to conduct a turnaround on its 120 000 tonne/year caustic soda plant and 110 000 tonne/year chlorine unit at Yosu, Chonnam, South Korea, in H2 this year, a company spokesman told CNI.
The South Korean major is yet to firm up the shutdown date and duration of the turnaround.
LG Chem does not intend to expand or debottleneck the plant.
