NH3, urea hikes

NINGXIA Petrochemical is raising the ammonia and urea capacities of its No 2 plant in Yingchuan, Ningxia, China, by 50%.
A company source told ACN the expanded 300 000 tonne/year ammonia and 520 000 tonne/year urea units would start up in October 2005.
The company has no plans to expand its No 1 plant, which produces 300 000 tonne/year of ammonia and 520 000 tonne/year of urea.
