CROMPTON Corp. will increase prices for all grades and packages of NF and vegetable grades of stearate products by 13 percent effective July 15, or as contracts allow. Products affected include aluminum stearate 22 Veg, calcium stearate EA FG Veg, calcium stearate NF, magnesium stearate NF FG D, magnesium stearate NF FG Veg D, magnesium stearate NF bulky, sodium stearate C-7, sodium stearate NF and zinc stearate ED HS Veg.

ARA Advanced BioNutrition Corp. has signed a deal with Martek Biosciences Corp. to become the sole provider of Martek’s arachidonic acid (ARA)-enriched phospholipids to the aquaculture industry. The product consist primarily of phospholipids, free fatty acids and triglycerides generated as a by-product from the refining process.
