LONDON (CNI)--US specialty materials producer Rohm and Haas (R&H) expects its force majeure declaration on acrylates to continue at least until the end of the third quarter, a company source told CNI on Thursday.

The declaration was made in April. The source said it was still in place because of "supply availability" problems, without disclosing further details.

R&H's produces acrylates at Marl, Germany and Houston, US. The force majeure declaration is not specific to a particular site, the source said.
