HOUSTON (CNI)--Bayer MaterialScience said Wednesday it has formed a “Future Business Group” (FBG) to identify trends that will help develop new polymer applications.

Bayer said the FBG creative centre subgroup has staff who will “identify demographic, population and societal trends that impact product needs, ideas and purchasing behaviours.” A new technologies subgroup will examine ‘technology trends and how current and future polymers materials impact new product development.”
The third subgroup will focus on industry innovation and “use information gathered by the creative centre and the new technologies group and work closely with customers on product, technology and process implementation.”
