Kerr-McGee to raise Asian TiO2 prices $100/tonne 1 October

HOUSTON (CNI)--US energy and chemicals firm Kerr-McGee Chemical said Wednesday it is raising the price of Tronox titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigments in Asia by $100 (Euro83)/tonne effective 1 October or as contracts allow.

 

The company did not state a reason for the increase. Company officials were not immediately available to respond to questions.

 

Kerr-McGee Chemical is a wholly owned affiliate of Kerr-McGee, an Oklahoma City-based energy and inorganic chemical company with worldwide operations and assets of more than $14bn.
