BASF to increase US amine intermediates prices

HOUSTON (CNI)--BASF Corporation said Monday it will increase its US off-list selling price for bis (2-dimethylaminoethyl) ether (BDMAE) and dimethylaminoethoxyethanol (DMEE) by $481 (Euro395)/tonne and for dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) by $66/tonne on 1 October or as contracts allow.

 

It is not clear if the proposed increase will be accepted by customers.

 

BASF Corporation, headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey, is the North American affiliate of BASF AG of Ludwigshafen, Germany.
