LONDON (CNI)--BP said Thursday that its newly-restarted 350 000 tonne/year styrene plant at Marl, Germany may not be fully back onstream until next week.
The plant was closed last month for a maintenance turnaround, including the replacement of a worn-out furnace. It was re-started without incident on 10 October but is not yet operating normally.
A BP spokesperson said the plant would be working at full capacity by "the middle of next week at the latest".
