DUSSELDORF, Germany (CNI)--German speciality chemicals company Degussa said here Thursday that it has increased methyl methacrylate (MMA) capacity at its Worms, Germany, site to 225 000 tonne/year.
Degussa also said that butyl methacrylate (BMA) production has been raised to 50 000 tonne/year.
“As a result, the business unit is now among the world’s largest producers of methacrylate chemicals,” Degussa’s executive vice president, Manfred Spindler, said at a press conference at the K 2004 fair*.
