James J. Hohman has been appointed president of performance chemicals at Omnova Solutions Inc. Since joining the company in 1996, Mr. Hohman has held several roles in general management and strategic business development. Previously, he held key positions in business and marketing management at BP Chemicals.

Armando Trujillo has been appointed vice president and general manager at Schering-Plough Mexico.

Paul McMinn has joined Spectrum Chemicals and Laboratory Products as director of laboratory sales.
Gerold Linzbach
Gerold Linzbach has been appointed CEO of Symrise, effective March 1. He has experience in the strategic realignment of companies and in the planning and implementation of re-engineering initiatives. Mr. Linzbach was previously president of Invista Resins and Fibers in the US. He has a PhD in chemistry.

Gary Ingenito has been appointed senior vice president of clinical development and regulatory affairs at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Carl L. Lueders
Carl L. Lueders has joined Pro-Pharmaceuticals Inc. as chief financial officer.
Alain Aragues
Alain Aragues has been named president for Cephalon Europe at Cephalon Inc. Mr. Aragues joined Cephalon three years ago and led the company’s expansion in France following its 2001 acquisition of Group Lafon. Previously, he was managing director and vice president of Europe for DuPont Pharma SA.
Glenn Bohny
Glenn Bohny has been named vice president and general manager of C4 processing business at Texas Petrochemicals LP. Mr. Bohny will be responsible for creating and directing a business team focused on the business performance. He has been with the company since 1996.
Darren Buckley
Darren Buckley has been promoted to operations director at SAFC, a member of the Sigma-Aldrich Group. He will manage all operations at the Manchester, the UK, site and be responsible for co-ordinating with all SAFC sites on a global basis. Mr. Buckley joined Sigma-Aldrich in 1998.
William H. Camp
William H. Camp has been elected executive vice president at Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM). He is responsible for global processing. Mr. Camp joined ADM in 1985.
Anthony J. Cataldo
Anthony J. Cataldo has been appointed nonexecutive cochairman of the board at MultiCell Technologies Inc. Mr. Ca-taldo is expected to focus on financial and commercial opportunities surrounding the development of its patented adult stem cell technology.
Stephen Chang
Stephen Chang has been appointed president at MultiCell Technologies Inc. He will spearhead the development of products based on the company’s immortalized liver cell technology, including stem cells and other products. Mr Chang is currently CEO of Astral Therapeutics.
John Dawson
John Dawson has been named chief financial officer and head of business development for Cephalon Europe at Cephalon Inc. Mr. Dawson has experience in Euro-pean commercial activities, finance, and mergers and acquisitions in the region. He joined the company in 1997.
Mauro J. Folena
Mauro J. Folena has joined Aerogen Inc. as vice president of operations. He will provide leadership for all manufacturing activities and oversee the company’s product development process and en-gineering activities. Before joining Aero-gen, Mr. Folena was director of operations for Honeywell International.
Philip Frost
Philip Frost will join ImClone Systems Inc. as executive vice president and chief scientific officer. Dr. Frost has more than 30 years of experience in researching, developing and commercializing oncology products. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president of oncology and as codirector of the oncology therapeutic area leadership team at Wyeth.
Edward A. Harjehausen
Edward A. Harjehausen has been elected senior vice president at Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM). He is responsible for food and feed ingredients. Mr. Harjehausen joined ADM in 1975.
Mark E. Harr
Mark E. Harr has been promoted to technical service manager for metalworking additives at Dover Chemical Corp. Mr. Harr joined the company in 1999.

R. Douglas Hulse
R. Douglas Hulse has been elected president and CEO of Hemispherx Biopharma Inc. Most recently, Mr Hulse was executive director of the Sage Group Inc. He previously served as Hemispherx’s chief operating officer in 1996-97.

In addition to specific strategic projects, Mr. Mafrige will lead the company’s activities related to all regulatory interfaces at the local, state and federal level. He has been with the company since 1996.

Jonathan Mason has been named paper technical service and development (TS&D) leader in North America at Dow Emulsion Polymers. Mr. Mason has worked at Dow for more than 16 years in a variety of TS&D leadership roles. Most recently, he was the TS&D leader for carpet for Dow Latex North America.
