Lou Gayo

has been appointed vice president of operations at Frutarom USA Inc. He is responsible for formulating and executing new strategies to expand Frutarom’s manufacturing capabilities as the company expands through growth and acquisitions. Prior to joining the company, Gayo was North American manufacturing asset director at Cognis Corp.

Dave Kelly

has been promoted to director of global sales and commercial development chemical division at SII Group. He is working to maximize the synergies between sales and commercial development to better serve the company’s customers’ requirements. Kelly has been with the company since 1978.

Jeff Parkinson

has been named sales director at Deeks and Company. Prior to joining the company, Parkinson headed the synthetic specialties division at Lambent Technologies, where he led business teams, sales management and marketing with a clear focus on customers and growth.

Christopher Roberts

Has been promoted to executive director of global supply chain at SII Group. Roberts has been with the company since 1992.

Robin C. Rotenberg

has been appointed president of BASF Canada. She will have administrative responsibility for all businesses in the country, including agriculture products and nutrition, chemicals, performance products and plastics. Prior to joining the company, Rotenberg was general counsel and corporate secretary with insurance, real estate and communications responsibilities for BASF Canada.

Frank Schlegel

has been promoted to global business director of rubber chemi-cals at Crompton Corp. Schle-gel has been with the company since 1975, most recently as North American business director for petroleum additives.

Barry S. Snyder

has been appointed global director of research for the adhesives and sealants business at Rohm and Haas. During his 14-year career with Rohm and Haas, Snyder has gained both technical and commercial experience in all aspects of the company’s adhesives and sealants business.

Dennis Synnott

has been promoted to commercial director for the Americas at Crompton Corp. Synnott’s 18-year career at the company includes positions as technical service scientist, international marketing specialist and sales executive for global tire accounts.

Steve Tranguch

has been promoted to global business director of Royalene EPDM at Crompton Corp. Tranguch has been with the company for 25 years in various roles including global marketing director for petroleum additives, rubber chemicals and EPDM and business director, Europe for urethanes.

Cori Wlasuk

has been promoted to inside sales representative for the Royalene EPDM and rubber chemical product line at Crompton Corp. Wlasuk is a 10-year veteran of the company.
