HOUSTON (CNI)--German specialty chemicals firm Degussa said Friday it intends to raise prices of all grades of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in North America by $154(Euro125)/tonne (7 cents/pound) “not to exceed current list price” effective 1 July or as contracts allow.?xml:namespace>

It is not clear if customers will accept the proposed increase.
Degussa said it was also implementing a transportation and energy surcharge for hydrogen peroxide sold in North American based on a basket of leading US energy indices also effective 1 July.
