Jpn's Nippon Petchem settles Jul benzene contract at $860/mt

SINGAPORE (CNI)--Japan's Nippon Petrochemical has settled its July benzene contract price at $860/tonne CFR Asia, at the same level as its nomination last week, a company official told CNI on Monday
This was $215/tonne higher than June's nomination of $645/tonne CFR Asia. The higher July contract price was attributed to improved spot prices in June, which rose from $680-700/tonne FOB Korea to $870/tonne FOB Korea.
