ROME (CNI)--The July European benzene contract price was settled on Thursday at the expected Euro730/tonne free on board (FOB) Northwest Europe (NWE), up Euro201/tonne (38%), market players said on the sidelines of the European Petrochemical Luncheon (EPL).
The July contract price was settled by various contract partners, including Total, Sabic, Innovene, IneosPhenol, Bayer and Lyondell.
The settlement was made at the equivalent of $880/tonne FOB NWE.
