SHANGHAI (CNI)--China’s benzene imports rose by 1,320% year-on-year to 14,229 tonne in May, according to statistics from the Chinese customs authorities.?xml:namespace>
A Chinese producer said imports fell from January to September 2004 due to high fob Korea prices. Imports also jumped by 57.2% in May compared to April, in line with a fall in benzene prices during the same period.
