In a statement, Ticona Technical Polymers said it will concentrate its distributor sales efforts “through Entec and Channel Prime Alliance and will continue its direct sales activities unchanged.”

Ticona said the realignment affects all Ticona resins including Celcon acetal copolymer, Celanex polybutylene terephthalate, Impet polyethylene terephthalate, Vandar thermoplastic polyester blends, Riteflex thermoplastic elastomer, Celstran long fibre reinforced thermoplastic, Fortron polyphenylene sulphide, Vectra liquid crystal polymer and Topas cyclic olefin copolymer.
Ticona produces and markets engineering polymers. It posted 2004 sales of $863m (Euro707.4m).
