LONDON (CNI)--European Oxo (Eoxo) is to close its Oberhausen, Germany dioctyl phthalate (DOP) production facility for five days next week for “market reasons”, a company source said on Friday.

The plant has an annual capacity of 75,000/tonne year but has been running at reduced rates for some time. The decision to stop production was taken earlier this week against a backdrop of poor margins.
