Bayer's Wenning named new VCI president

LONDON (ICIS news)--Bayer chairman Werner Wenning (pictured right) was on Friday elected new president of the German chemicals industry association VCI.

The VCI said Wenning had taken over from BASF chairman Jurgen Hambrecht who becomes a vice president.

Also elected a vice president were Utz-Hellmuth Felcht, chairman of Degussa, and Rainer Follmann, head of Follmann & Co.
