JEREMY BURKS

has been named global industry executive director for the paper and process industries group of the Dow Corning Corp. Burks joined Dow Corning in 1987.

NEIL BURNS

has been appointed as the head of VVF Ltd.’s US oleochemical operations. This new branch office marks VVF’s entry into the North American market.

NICOLE C DANIEL

has been chosen by Albemarle Corp. as the new corporate director—investor relations. Daniel joined Albemarle in 2002.

BROCKIE HALL

has been named vice president, strategic resources for the Shaw Group Inc., a newly created position.

GARY KOHEL

has been named vice president of sales and estimating for Team Industries Inc.

STEVE LEACH

has been appointed CEO of Nanotechnologies Inc. Credited with planning and launching Compaq’s first $1 billion notebook computer, Leach was most recently the director of strategic investments aligned with Dell Ventures.

KOBI LEVY

has been appointed executive vice president of Frutarom Industries Ltd.’s global Frutarom Group and manager of its global flavors division.

CHARLES A LINGENFELTER

has been promoted to the position of president and CEO of the Industrial Distribution Group Inc. (IDG). A founding member of IDG, Lingenfelter was also elected to IDG’s board of directors.

ROLAND LOESSER

has been appointed as the new chairman of Clariant Ltd. Currently Clariant’s chief executive, he will assume his new role following the company’s Annual General Meeting on April 7, 2006.

LAURA RUIZ

has taken on full-time responsibility for coordinating Albemarle Corp.’s global sustainability initiatives as corporate director—advocacy.

ROBERT A SINUC

has joined Cyclics Corp. as vice president of manufacturing. Most recently, Sinuc served as vice president of engineering at Plug Power.

TERRI L STEWART

has been named to lead the Environmental Biomarkers Initiative at the US Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Stewart joined the Laboratory in 1983.

SCOTT TERHUNE

has been appointed senior vice president, production for Resin Systems Inc.’s operating division, RS Technologies.
