LONDON (ICIS news)--Polimeri Europa has kept its force majeure in effect this week on acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) supplies from the ?xml:namespace>
It was still not clear when the contractual caveat may be lifted and production may resume but repair works continue, the official said.
Polimeri was forced to close the 45,000 tonne/year ABS unit unexpectedly on 15 October following a power cut at the Mantova site. The outage only affected the Italian styrenics producer's ABS train with production of all other polymers running smoothly.
