LONDON (ICIS news)--A second January European styrene barge contract price was settled on Tuesday at Euro915/tonne, an increase of Euro83-107/tonne or 10-13% from December, the producer said.
The second barge contract, on a free delivered (FD) Northwest Europe basis, followed the first settlement on Monday (2 January) at Euro904/tonne.
The truck contract price was also agreed, at the usual Euro25/tonne premium over the barge settlement, at Euro929-940/tonne FD truck NWE.
The dual styrene contract settlement for January is the fourth time two separate reference contract numbers have been agreed. Previous dual settlements were made in June, October and December 2005.
