LONDON (ICIS news)--The first March European benzene contract price was agreed on Tuesday by a major producer and three consumers at Euro652/tonne, a decrease of Euro23/tonne from February.
The contract was settled at $773/tonne, equivalent to Euro652/tonne free on board (FOB) Northwest Europe (NWE), using the exchange rate of 1.1854.
The spot market price for benzene on Tuesday was $760-770/tonne cost, insurance and freight (CIF) ?xml:namespace>
