LONDON (ICIS news)--European bisphenol A (BPA) contracts for March were settled at Euro1,250-1,300 tonne free delivered (FD) Northwest Europe (NWE) - a rollover from February levels, major buyers and sellers said on Friday.
A number of buyers said sellers were aiming for Euro40-50/tonne increases. However, buyers said they were able to resist these proposals as the market was still oversupplied.
Demand from the polycarbonate (PC) market has been weaker than expected in March but was expected to improve in April. An improvement in epoxy resin demand has been widely reported this week.
