China Yunnan DAP project to start up early 2007

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Yunnan Three Circles Chemical Co, a Chinese fertiliser producer, is to start up its diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant in early 2007, a company source said on Friday.

Construction work on the 1.2m tonne/year plant at Kunming, Yunnan Province, is under way, he added.

The Rmb1.96bn ($244.6m/Euro200.6m) project is a joint venture with Yunnan Yuntianhua Co and Sinochem. Both Three Circles Chemical and Sinochem have a 40% stake each while Yuntianhua holds the remainder.
