SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Taiwan’s Chang Chun Plastics restarted its 325,000 tonne/year phenol-acetone unit on Wednesday, after a technical glitch had caused the facility to shut for about two weeks, a company source said on Friday.

The Kaohsiung unit, which is operating at 60-70% of capacity, is expected to have product available for sale next week, the source said.

The outage occurred about a week after the plant had resumed operations on 14 March following a month-long turnaround.
