PRAGUE (ICIS news)--Czech companies Spolana, Setuza and Lovochemie all said on Monday that their flood-hit chemical plants resumed production as planned over the weekend (8/9 April).
Biodiesel component producer Setuza said it achieved full production by Sunday evening, while polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and caprolactam maker Spolana and fertilisers producer Lovochemie said they were making good progress.
Spolana expected full production before Wednesday morning (12th April) – a condition for it to lift the force majeure currently in place on all of its products. Lovochemie projected complete output restoration by the end of Tuesday (11 April).
