LONDON (ICIS news)--Portugal's Petrogal has started a 14-day planned turnaround at its Oporto paraxylene (PX) plant ahead of schedule, a company source said on Thursday.

“Production halted at the Oporto paraxylene facility a day ahead of planned,” said the source. "This is a scheduled outage and we are sufficiently covered with material during this period," she added.

Petrogal produces 140,000 tonne/year of paraxylene at the Oporto plant in Portugal.
