Mitsui Chem to turn around Singapore phenol plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Mitsui Chemicals, Asia’s largest phenol-acetone producer, will shut its Singapore plant from 2 July for about a month for maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.

The Jurong Island facility has a nameplate capacity of 250,000 tonne/year of phenol and 150,000 tonne/year of acetone.
