LONDON (ICIS News)--Bulgarian company Eko Petroleum is to begin construction of a 150,000 tonnes/year biodiesel plant at the end of July, market sources said on Wednesday.The factory, to be built in Vidin, Northwest Bulgaria, will be the biggest in Southeast Europe, and will supply biodiesel to both domestic and foreign markets when construction is completed in around 16 months.
Market sources said the €60m ($77m) plant would use 400,000 tonnes/year of feedstock rapeseed oil.
