HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Six biodiesel facilities are under construction in ?xml:namespace>
The plants include:
* Clinton County Bioenergy in
* Tri-City Energy in Keokuk - 5m gallons/year capacity;
* Riksch Biofuels in Crawfordsville - 10m gallons/year capacity;
* Freedom Fuels in
* Central Iowa Energy in
* Iowa Renewable Energy in
The IRFA said the Clinton County Bioenergy site was furthest along in construction, with production start-up anticipated by end-2006. Tri-City Energy and Central Iowa Energy also might be able to meet start-up requirements by the end of the year, sources said.
