SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Yeochun NCC (YNCC), the South Korean cracker operator, is to restart its styrene monomer (SM) plant on Friday after an outage earlier in the week, a company official said on Friday.
The 285,000 tonnes/year plant at Yeochun was shut after a technical problem at its heat exchanger, he added.
About 2,000 tonnes of production was lost during the shutdown, he said.
