(ICIS news)--Asian open-spec naphtha prices fell 1.7% or $11/tonne from Friday’s trading due to weaker crude value and demand, traders said on Monday.

Prices fell to a notional $648-650/tonne CFR Japan on Monday for delivery in the first half of October.

Nymex WTI futures fell $0.84/bbl to $73.59/bbl on Monday evening. Crude futures lost ground on Monday in Asia after the US called for a ceasefire in the conflict in the Lebanon.
