LONDON (ICIS news)--Foskor, the world’s leading phosphoric acid producer, expects to be producing export quality product from its older, fire-hit plant at Richards Bay in South Africa by the end of the week, a company spokesman said on Monday.
The plant was brought to a standstill on 7 May when a fire damaged a transformer. The unit was restarted at the beginning of July and testing has been taking place following the plant’s recommissioning.
