Russia's Plastcard in €6.7m PVC capacity upgrade

MOSCOW (ICIS news)--Russia's Plastcard chemical plant plans to raise its PVC capacity by 10,000 tonnes/year to 75,000 tonnes/year by 2008, the company said in a statement on Monday.

 

The project would cost Roubles50m (€1.45m) next year, with an overall investment of Roubles230m (€6.7m), the statement said.

 

Based in Volgograd in Southern Russia, Plastcard currently has a 65,000 tonnes/year PVC capacity.
