Rotary Engineering wins S'pore biodiesel EPC

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Rotary Engineering, a Singapore listed company, has been awarded a S$24m engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Nexsol Singapore, to build a biodiesel process plant on Jurong Island, the company said on Monday.

Nexsol Singapore is the Singapore-based subsidiary of Nexsol, a joint venture between Malaysia’s Kulim and Peter Cremer (Singapore).

The plant with a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year will be completed by the middle of next year. It will produce biofuel and other downstream derivatives from palm oil.

Rotary Engineering provides engineering design, procurement, construction and maintenance services for the oil & gas, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
