RPM invests in Indian plastics composite maker

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--RPM Internationl said on Thursday that it has acquired almost 15% of the outstanding shares of Kemrock Industries & Exports, a fiberglass reinforced plastic composites maker based in Vadodara, Gujarat State, India.

RPM did not release financial details of the purchase but did say it plans to continue seeking investment opportunities in the Indian market.

Kemrock’s plastic composites are used for industrial grating, wind turbine housings, handrails, ladders and fork lift pallets, among other products.
