SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Hunan Zhonghe Investment will build a 30,000 tonnes/year biodiesel plant in central China to alleviate tight supply in refined oil products, a company source said on Tuesday.
The company has started construction work on the project at Changsha, Hunan province, which was expected to come on stream in early 2007, he said.
Local technology will be used for the project. The company aims to produce 500,000 tonnes/year of biodiesel in three years, he added.
