Industry welcomes ICIS' US biodiesel report

ICIS pricing announced the launch of a weekly US biodiesel report to complement its global biofuels price and market intel-ligence reports portfolio.Booming biodiesel production in the US has generated the need for an independent price benchmark. Biodiesel production increased from 500,000 gallons in 1999 to 75m gallons in 2005.
The rising trend is a result of various federal and state initiatives designed to promote the production and use of biodiesel.
ICIS pricing US biodiesel report will give two accurate and independent weekly domestic price assessments; B100 FOB Midwest and B100 delivered Texas.
The report will offer incisive market intelligence on the impact on demand and supply. It will also offer market commentary covering legislation, financial incentives, production news, plant capacities and in-valuable insight and analysis of the biodiesel market.
ICIS pricing global portfolio of biofuels reports includes fuel ethanol, ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE) and biodiesel in Europe, ethanol in Asia and ethanol and biodiesel in the US.
