ICIS pricing launches Chinese Language Fibre Intermediates report
Launched in response to demand for domestic price assessment in yuan and information on the Chinese market, the report will also include assessments of spot US dollar quotes for purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and monoethylene glycol (MEG).
ICIS pricing's weekly PTA and MEG price assessment are already widely used in the global market as a benchmark for settling transaction prices.
With the price volatility in the fibre intermediates market, the Fibre Intermediates (China) report will provide insight on the Chinese market's relationship with the rest of the Asian market, and report on transactions in the Chinese and international markets.
Following the successful launch of the Polyethylene and Polypropylene (China) reports, Fibre Intermediates (China) report is a valuable addition to ICIS' existing weekly reporting written in Chinese.
"Many Chinese market players tell us they need a concise, authoritative and independent report on the PTA and MEG markets in China, written in the Chinese language," said Salmon Aidan Lee, senior editor for the report.
