LONDON (ICIS news)--BP’s 400,000 tonnes/year acetic acid plant in Hull should be back online by Wednesday at the latest, a company source said on Tuesday.

“We are in the process of starting up again today,” the source said.

The plant was originally scheduled to restart by the beginning of November.

The news follows the restart of BP’s 250,000 tonnes/year vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant in Hull on 13/14 November.
