LONDON (ICIS news)--Al-Waha Petrochemical Company, the joint venture between Sahara Petrochemical Company and Basell, has received financing from six regional banks for its proposed polypropylene complex in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
Basell said in a statement on Wednesday that the 450,000 tonnes/year polypropylene plant and 450,000 tonnes/year propylene dehydrogenation unit were expected begin commercial production in the first quarter of 2009.
