TORONTO (ICIS news)--US specialty coatings and sealants firm RPM said on Monday it acquired the daylight fluorescent, phosphorescent and thermochromatic pigments business of the UK’s Dane Group.

It did not disclose financial terms.

The acquired business is based in Manchester, England. It has annual revenues of about $20m (€15m), RPM said.

RPM will continue to operate the business as a standalone unit within its Day-Glo business division, it said.

RPM’s Ohio-based Day-Glow business is focused on markets in the plastics, graphic arts, paints and coatings, dyes and textiles fields.
