TORONTO (ICIS news)--Greek shipping firm TOP Tankers said on Tuesday it ordered four 50,000 dwt chemical tankers from South Korean shipbuilder SPP.

The ships should be ready for delivery in the first half of 2009. The order for the four tankers is worth about $191m (€143m).
TOP also acquired options for two additional chemical tankers with the same specifications and delivery dates, it said.
Athens-based TOP describes itself as a shipping company specialising in the global transport of liquid cargoes.
