SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Ganz Biofuels plans to raise its biodiesel production to 30,000 tonnes/year in the next three months, a source with the Malaysian producer said on Wednesday.
The company was running the $5m (€3.75m) biodiesel facility at 50% currently as it did not have sufficient capital to produce at the full rate, he explained.
Ganz, which uses refined, bleached, and deodorised (RBD) palm oil as feedstock, exports all its products to the US and Europe markets.
It sells its glycerine by-product, which is refined to 88% purity, to suppliers in countries such as France and India, the source added.
