LONDON (ICIS news)--Greenergy’s 100,000 tonne/year biodiesel plant will come on stream in the next two weeks, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant, which is located in Hull, UK, will start production at the beginning of January, with full output expected by the end of next month, the source said.

The plant will then double its production rates to reach its second phase of output of 200,000 tonnes/year by August.

European rapeseed methyl ester (RME) biodiesel prices were currently assessed in a €650-720/cbm ($856-948/cbm) free on board (FOB) Europe range, according to global chemical intelligence service ICIS pricing.
