Valero announces refinery turnarounds for 2007

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Valero listed on Wednesday seven planned US refinery turnarounds for 2007 that were expected to have a material impact on production.

The combined refineries account for 345,000 bbl/day of production, Valero said.

The company listed the following turnarounds for 2007:

Valero said it would later announce the exact start or completion dates for its turnarounds. Initial market reaction was limited, as the announcement of the planned downtimes was released after the close of the NYMEX.

The January NYMEX reformulated gasoline blend stock for oxygenated blending (RBOB) futures contract settled at $1.693/gal on Wednesday, down 1.76 cents from the previous session. February RBOB futures closed at $1.697/gal for a loss of 1.01 cents on the day.
