HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Valero said on Monday a fire at its 245,000 bbl/day Texas refinery in Texas City will result in three weeks of repairs.
The Sunday fire resulted in the shutdown of a crude unit, a fluid catalytic cracking unit and alkylation unit.
The incident will result in about 67,500 bbls/day of lost gasoline production and 40,000 bbls/day of lost distillate production, according to an early company estimate.
